Many financial professionals settle for a static investment approach that utilizes third-party management (managing managers) and is designed to own everything, all the time. This is a commonly accepted practice that drives mediocracy, increasing fees, and reducing transparency.
We do not. We directly manage the assets for the generations of families who have entrusted us. We believe in a direct, disciplined, investment process in which we own the individual stocks and bonds of great companies and review each position every day. This process ensures we know exactly what we own, why we own it, and that we are delivering the best outcomes for our clients.
Our team of investment professional is distinguished by seven key attributes:
We excel at designing and managing portfolios that are tailored to each of our clients based on their unique needs and circumstances.
Our group has a strong commitment to client satisfaction. Our client loyalty is shown in relationships spanning more than twenty years.
We monitor all our portfolios daily. This allows us to be proactive, rather than reactive when it comes to making investment decisions.
We do not try to be all things to all people. Period. We excel at Custom Portfolio Management and that’s what we focus on.
When it comes to managing portfolios, we seek to preserve our clients’ assets first. We make prudent investments that are consistent with our clients’ objectives and risk tolerance.
We focus on building our business through introductions from existing clients and their families. 90% of our new clients have come to us via an introduction from a satisfied existing client.
We believe face to face interactions are important for clear communication, so we offer our clients many opportunities to see us and hear our thoughts through dinners and other social events.
We believe in managing and preserving our clients' wealth by maintaining a patient, long-term perspective that looks at the big picture and keeps a careful eye on mitigating risk while vigilantly managing and monitoring progress to make sure plans stay on track.
Being proactive means we always strive to have a pulse on the markets and a plan for moving forward accordingly with discipline, not emotionally or reactively, but intentionally in step with you and the financial environment.
We are also committed to transparency, communicating with our clients about what we are doing and why, and sharing our wisdom and perspective so they can remain fully informed.
There’s more to your financial life than just investments. Comprehensive planning encompasses an in-depth review and analysis of all aspects of your financial life – to help you see the big picture and enable us to personalize a plan for addressing every detail.
Most people today are too busy to manage their investments or are simply not comfortable making the many complex decisions required to successfully navigate rapidly changing markets.
Our Custom Portfolio Management has been designed to put our resources to work allowing us to efficiently manage your wealth freeing you from the day-to-day “buy-sell” decisions by eliminating discussion for every portfolio transaction. This is similar in nature to the way that you place your trust with a pilot to make ongoing appropriate course corrections, without consultation, as you progress toward your desired destination.
Within a structured and disciplined process, our portfolio managers recognize and swiftly implement the complex day-to-day decisions necessary due to ever changing market conditions and make discretionary adjustments to update your portfolio.
Your portfolio is constructed to work towards your unique goals, as it is based on personal factors such as growth requirements, income needs and risk tolerance. Because your approval is not required for every single transaction, your dedicated Portfolio Manager is able to take advantage of investment opportunities quickly and efficiently.
In addition, this program provides enhanced regular reporting and will offer you convenience and confidence knowing your wealth is being professionally managed. As a result, this service will free your time allowing you to concentrate and pursue your most important business or personal interests while we work towards achieving your financial objectives and lifetime family goals.

¹ The Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years of experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of approximately 32,725 nominations, more than 5,000 advisors received the award. This ranking is not indicative of advisor’s future performance, is not an endorsement, and may not be representative of individual clients’ experience. Neither Raymond James nor any of its Financial Advisors or RIA firms pay a fee in exchange for this award/rating. Raymond James is not affiliated with Forbes or Shook Research, LLC.
